Privacy policy.

The short version

We collect only what's needed to run CoachSphere — your account, your training entries, your sessions, and your messages.
We don't sell your information, run ads, track you across other apps, or use your data to train AI models.
You can access, export, or delete your data at any time by emailing hello@coachsphere.app.

CoachSphere ("CoachSphere," "we," "us," or "our") is a personal training app built by vibecode. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the CoachSphere mobile app or this website (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. We've kept this short and direct on purpose.

1. Who we are

CoachSphere is operated by vibecode. The mobile app is published on the App Store under the bundle identifier com.vibecode.elitetrainingyehuda. For any privacy question, contact us at hello@coachsphere.app.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you give us

Account information. Your email address, password (stored securely by our authentication provider), display name, and your role (trainer or client). You may optionally upload a profile photo.
Fitness and wellness data. Weight entries and strength entries that you log, along with optional notes you attach to those entries. You can also set a goal weight and a strength target.
Coaching and scheduling data. Sessions you book or accept (date, time, duration, session type), session notes, availability windows, blocked dates, and any session prices configured by your trainer. We do not process payments — pricing is for display and reference only.
Messages. The text you send to and receive from your trainer or client through our in-app messaging.

2.2 Information collected automatically

When you use the app, we collect the platform you are using (iOS or Android) and the version of the app. We do not currently collect device identifiers, IP-address logs, advertising IDs, push notification tokens, or any analytics events. We do not integrate any third-party analytics or crash-reporting tools.

2.3 What we don't collect

To be specific: we do not collect your phone number, postal address, payment-card information, government ID numbers, location data, contacts, calendar contents (beyond CoachSphere sessions), or browsing activity outside of CoachSphere. We do not track you across other apps or websites.

3. Apple Health / HealthKit

CoachSphere can integrate with Apple HealthKit so that wearable and smart-scale data can sync into your account after you grant permission. Depending on the permissions you approve, the app may read steps, heart-rate summaries, resting heart rate, and body-weight samples from Apple Health. CoachSphere does not write data back to Apple Health.

For HealthKit data, we commit to:

Only access the specific HealthKit data types you explicitly authorize.
Never use HealthKit data for advertising or marketing.
Never sell, rent, or transfer HealthKit data to third parties or data brokers.
Never use HealthKit data outside of providing the CoachSphere service to you.

These commitments are required by Apple's HealthKit terms and we will honor them.

4. How we use your information

We use the information above to:

Create and authenticate your account.
Show you and your trainer (or client) your progress, sessions, and messages.
Deliver messages between you and the people you've chosen to coach or be coached by.
Operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
Comply with our legal obligations.

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or to train machine-learning models.

With your trainer or client. If you are a client, the trainer linked to your account can see the entries, messages, and sessions you share with them. If you are a trainer, your linked clients can see the sessions and messages you direct to them, plus any availability you publish to them.
With our service providers. We use Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Storage) operated by Google LLC to authenticate accounts and store your data, and a real-time messaging service to deliver chat. These providers process data on our behalf under contractual data-protection terms. Your data is stored on Google Cloud infrastructure.
For legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users or the public.
In a business transfer. If CoachSphere is acquired or merged, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy.

We do not sell your personal information.

6. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your account record and the entries associated with it from our active systems within 30 days, except where we are required to retain limited information for legal or fraud-prevention reasons. Encrypted backups may persist for up to 90 days before being overwritten.

7. Your rights and choices

Wherever you live, you can:

Access the information we hold about you.
Correct information that is inaccurate.
Delete your account and the data associated with it.
Export your data in a portable format.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@coachsphere.app from the address tied to your account. We will respond within 30 days.

If you live in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to object to or restrict certain processing of your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) gives you specific rights regarding your personal information, including the right to know what personal information we collect and the right to deletion. We do not sell personal information, so there is no sale to opt out of.

8. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards: data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest by our cloud provider, passwords are hashed by our authentication provider, and access to production systems is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, but we take this seriously and will notify affected users of any material breach as required by law.

9. Children

CoachSphere is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13 (or 16 in the EEA and the UK). If you believe a child has provided us with information, please email hello@coachsphere.app and we will delete it.

10. International data transfers

Your information may be processed in the United States, where Google Cloud and other service providers operate. Where applicable, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or other valid transfer mechanisms to protect your data when it crosses borders.

11. App Tracking Transparency

CoachSphere does not track you across other apps or websites and does not request permission under Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework. We do not work with advertising or attribution networks.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will let you know in the app or by email before the changes take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent revision.
